Located in Northeastern Pennsylvania our Texel Sheep flock is 100% grass fed and finished. While we do offer high quality USDA lamb locally, our primary goal is to produce superior Terminal Sire Texel genetics to meet the commercial lamb and seedstock producer’s needs.
More Details
Our flock is managed with rotational grazing throughout the summer months, and lambs are not usually weaned until 12 weeks.
We use natural cover as well as artificial insemination (AI) to introduce new genetics into our flock.
As a participant in the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP) we collect and report data metrics on our flock to inform management decisions. These performance EBVs are available to our customers as well.
